| August 8/08-08/09 Sat & Sun. Volkswagen Club of America's Convention. Road trip to Ohio for the largest VW-club run show in the Mid-West. See the Autoist for Details. 8/15. Get out the popcorn and prepare for a night of good fellowship and flicks for our annual trip to the lovely hamlet of Monroe,WI for our drive-in night. Sky-Vu Drive-In Theatre:1936 State Road 69 Monroe, WI 8/22. Back to back movie nights. This time we combine our fun with our friends from NIVA at Cascade Drive-In 28w741 North Ave (IL Route 64) West Chicago, IL 60185 September 9/04-9/07. Get out the camping gear and join us in Hannibal. MO for a weekend of camping at lovely Mark Twain Lake. Bus camping is the bomb, but all types of VW's are welcome. 9/20. Its that time of the year or nearly that time when you get the last VW show for the season. Join us at Anderson Vw 360 North Route 31 Crystal Lake, IL. One of the largest shows and best swap meets in the area. 9/26 Sat. Tenative date. Want to dance on a 2nd floor dance floor, see what renovated barn can look like as living quarters. One of our favorite hosts-Smokey, hopefully will be up north to open up his lovely abode for our enjoyment. |
